Now A Freelance Illustrator, Tabitha Blends Drawings, Found Textures, And Vintage Papers To Create Digital Collages Of Women Enjoying Life And Nature. The Motivation Behind Her Work Was Her Frustration That People Of Colour Are Underrepresented In Art. She Found Art Depicting Black Girls And Women Often Focused On Hardships And Struggles Or Was Overly Religious. So She Created Art That Shows Black Women Having Fun, Being Quirky, Being Fashionable And Living Their Everyday Normal Lives. Her Colourful And Whimsical Style Is A Mixture Of 70S Soul Funk, Noir, And Minimalism.
